Morzine is in the centre of the largest internationally linked ski area in the world. The vast Portes du Soleil offers an immense variety of runs for all standards of skier and snowboarder, with 650km of pistes and more than 260 lifts spanning 13 linked resorts in France and Switzerland You can ski the French or the Swiss side, one lift ticket does it all. An immense area for cross country skiing is available with numerous marked trails. Apres ski is vibrant, with many bars, discos and restaurants to choose from or you may enjoy a hockey game or figure skating exhibition at the Ice Palace. Morzine, offers many activities for skiers and non skiers alike: skating, hiking, shopping, guided tours of historical Morzine, guided tours with snow shoes around Morzine and sleigh rides and adventure parks. |

New this year THE SKIING It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner intermediate or expert, young or old or whether your sport is alpine skiing, , snow boarding, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, paragliding or walking. We believe that the Portes du Soleil offers a variety and choice which is unrivaled. The snow record is excellent and Morzine has the most advanced snow making system ensuring fabulous skiing from early December right through to the end of April. AVORIAS Avoriaz is a purpose built resort sitting at 1800m offering guaranteed snow throughout the season. It is famous for being the snow boarding capital of Europe, hosting world championship events in its dedicated snowboard park. The ski area also has huge off piste powder fields and a World Cup downhill run. Avorias can be reached via the “Super Morzine” ski lift, by road or by cable car from the valley below. A FREE ski bus is available. There is a scenic circuit known as "Le Grand Paradis" , starting and finishing from Prodains lift you can ski into Switzerland and back into France in a day, still having time for a fine lunch in one of the many mountain restaurants. With 650 kilometres of pistes linking 12 resorts in France and Switzerland, 60 mountain restaurants, ski schools with creche facilitities and cross country skiing at the head of Vallee De La Manche in Morzine this ski area has a lot to offer
